Tarak Dhiab, who was the star playmaker of Tunisia's historic 1978 World Cup side, who had a very long career primarily with Esperance, and whose last international game came against England in 1990. One of the true legends of African football.

And then there was Lakhdar Belloumi, another great player who played a massive role in his country's rise in international football, scoring the winner for Algeria against West Germany in 1982. He played most of his career at home, too, and only reitred from League football in 1999.
