ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Death List 2012 - The End Of The World

Given the (eventual) success of the Death List here, and Mick's retirement from the position of Scorekeeper of the Crypt, I'm calling for nominations for the 2012 edition of the Death List - subtitled The End Of The World.

Submit twenty celebrity names and if they die in 2012 you get points according to how old they are. Points are decided by subtracting the person's age from 100.

For example, if you submit:

Barrack Obama 49 Politician

...and he dies you would get 51 points.

A few people cleaned up with Amy Winehouse this year - 73 points.

So get cracking and here are the rules:
1. Submit 20 names with occupation and age by personally messaging me by 11.59pm 31 December.
2. Names will be published some time on New Year's Day, depending on state of inebriation or hangover of your cheerful host.
3. Competition runs for the whole of 2012. There is no prize but the recognition of being the forum's grim reaper for 2012.
4. A running tally will be kept on the forum throughout the year.

Come one, come all, even some of the YA organisers might want to jump in on this one!

In morbid good humour,
Dibo
