Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

EXCLUSIVE: Channel 10s HD sports channel will launch a new world football show early in 2010 in a major boost for the sport in this country.

au.fourfourtwo.com understands the Ten-HD program will begin airing in February and will have a global perspective on football while still focusing on the A-League and Socceroos.

The show is part of a push by Channel 10 to broaden football's appeal - particularly the A-League. Currently, the league is restricted to a subscription TV deal with Fox Sport signed at the start of the new competition in 2005 but set to run out in 2012.

In 2009 Network Ten introduced its free-to-air 24-hour sports channel, ONE featuring a number of sports including AFL, netball, swimming, athletics and Formula One.

ONE has also shown some Bundesliga and Serie A matches but a dedicated football programme is a major step forward for fans crying out for free-to-air football coverage.

Not sure if it was the first but tonight I watched and FA cup preview with Man U playing a lot of games... finished with the 1999 side i.e. the one that took the treble ...

Ten seem to be putting a lot into Football...

God that 99 side was something ... I wonder if the 99 side played the 2009 side who would win...

It would actually be interesting to see who would win out of 99 and 09

Both great goalkeepers

Defence - Well 09 is far far better though...i mean henning berg and rohny johnsen comapred to vidic and ferds

Midfield i would edge it towards 99, just for the balance and work rate.
Giggs-scholes-keane-beckham when working cohesively there was nothing better in english football at the time.

And up front i'd give it too 99 aswell
Yorke-Cole-Ole-Sheringham
If you include Ronaldo as an attacker you could argue that Rooney-ronaldo-tevez-berbatov would go close but ronaldo was meant to be a midfielder so it just made the team more unbalanced as we've seen this year where valencia isn't as good a player but the team is now working better as a whole.

But imagine a combination of the 2
Schmiechal
Ferd-Vidic-Stam
Giggs-Scholes-Keane-Beckham
Ronaldo-'99 striker-Rooney
      (of your choice)

Monday night is football night for "one". They've had it for a fair while now, they use to have the bundesliga highlights on before the fa cup history show, but now it's the other way round. Which is stupid IMO.
