ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So more to the actual club. I think this is a f**king great thing to happen. Obviously there will be the fears of diluting the talent pool but in time I can oboe see this being great for the region. Local derby days will be awesome if they happen to be in the same division. This is what drives people to support their clubs. At the end of the day its another club on the production line to the mariners when it's full swing

Not everyone develops at same rate so gives more opportunities especially maybe when NYL are washed up at 20yrs old

Off to watch UniteD at Pluim this avo , as opposed to the current state of the Mariners, never know, might see some decent footy and multiple goals for a change

Enjoy mate! Great to see people getting around their local club. I frequent the Bulleen Lions down here.

CCU held their own, and in fact probably had the better of the play against their higher ranked opponents yesterday. Adam Woodbine struck midway through the first half with a clinical finish off the outside of his right boot which nestled into the bottom right corner, giving the ‘keeper no chance.
Edgeworth struck back immediately after half time - a sloppy pass from the CCU right back was cut out, and with the CCU centre backs standing off and affording their man time and space to shoot he obliged, with a powerful effort from the edge of the area.
Less than a minute later, Woodbine was at it again - a well measured through ball from Ian Mcandrew gave Woodbine a couple of yards space, who blasted past the ‘keeper at his near post.
But it wasn’t to be for CCU; with less than 5 minutes remaining Edgeworth were through again. A good initial save by substitute ‘keeper Josh Doe - though he couldn’t hold it, and the rebound was tucked away.
A pretty positive hit out overall for the lads, finishing 2 apiece.

Cheers for the match report! Very impressive that CCU could more than hold their own against Edgeworth.
