ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

So, Brisbane Roar will host the mighty Glasgow Celtic FC on Sunday 12 July 2009.

Is anybody else from the Central Coast travelling up from the Coast for this match?

I am keen, providing Celtic aren't playing other matches closer to here ...

On a side note apparently ffa have not taken a stake in the roar. The other owners decided to buy up the rest of the club

Did you see the thing at the top "Queensland ROars against racism".
Calling them smelly soap dodgers and one shoe merchants is not racist just an accurate  description of most of them so they should be ok to sing the songs!! ;)

Actually, if I was a Roar fan I might think twice about an Orange shirt when there will be 75% Celtic fans there

Lol! So..... if you walked into Suncorp with a T-Shirt on saying something provocative, you might have a spot of bovver with the Celtic fans?  :-*

Wonder if Fergie will fly down from Townsville to see it, he he?  He could help with the translation of the insults for Farina, and teach the Roar people a few back in retort. ;) ;D

Maybe the Roar will change their kit to Rangers colours for the evening instead of their usual strip to make Celtic feel at home?

The sight of Craig Moore and Charlie Miller in Orange shirts will be enough to promote mass hysteria amongst the green soap dodgers!

And since it's on the 12th of July how about a flute band for pre match entertainment lol!!

Ooooooooh shiiiiiiiiit. I just did a google on the 12th July to understand what you were hinting at - it's the anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne. God help Brisbane (the city).
