ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

From Facebook:

Red Terrace wish to inform you that the southern active bay will no longer exist.

Due to certain problems including overzealous security and in house problems most members of the group have agreed it best to leave active support for the time being.

Some members will move to the northern supporter bay, while others have decided to become non active.

We wish to thank everyone for their support over the past few seasons.
This is not the end.

Win lose or draw
Forza Adelaide

It's never good to see an active group disband, especially at a club that should probably be drawing more people than they currently are.

I just don't understand why the FFA does not get behind active support. Atmosphere draws in the crowds and keeps them coming back.
It's one of the great points of difference with the other codes.

There is a lot of things wrong with how the FFA go about the topic of active support. On one hand they want to ride off the success of the RBB by making them to front page for ads and forming the Terrace Australis. On the other hand they throw out bans on pull-over tifos to certain clubs.

For good reason.

If certain groups persist in bringing flares to grounds full stop, FFA's gonna kick their arses.

If certain groups keep using pullovers as cover for ripping flares, FFA's simply going to ban pullovers, not least because flare + big nylon pullover = enormous fire risk.

Frankly, I've got no problem with that at all. I've got a far bigger problem with people who persist in protesting the injustice of it all through misguided displays of "PASSSSSSHHHHUUUUNNNNN" when all they're doing is giving FFA a reason to boot *all* active supporters around.

That the RBB, Cove, NT or whoever else are from time to time very impressive has f**k all to do with flares. It's got to do with big tifos and big noise. Flares add bugger all.

If they persist in bringing flares, their tifos get limited and they lose the right to things like drums and megas and they get unwanted supervision from the likes of Hatamoto.

The Cove have understood this for years, and they continually self-police so that they don't lose the good things because some dickheads like irrelevant things.

RBB and NT, on the other hand, seem to be slow learners.

Wonder why we don't attract attention from Hatamoto? We don't do stupid things with flares. It's got nothing to do with our size, RT are hardly massive:

We nearly had that many in Melbourne the other week. I'm not unsympathetic to RT, but there's a degree of responsibility required here too, and that seems to be ignored or forgotten too often.

Haven't they historically had all sorts of internal dramas too? 1st fans group to split way back I think?
