ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Oh yeah, her getting this game is an absolute farce but FIFA assessors have to be absolutely cooked. Especially when you consider that the likes of Ams and Faghani are FIFA refs.....
I’m convinced there is a directive to be a lot looser with fouls and cards for the WWC. All tournament cynical, dangerous or reckless tackles were routinely ignored or severity downplayed, time wasting and shithousery barely punished, if you were new to the game via WWC and played the same way you’d be an absolute menace. It feels like they’re so desperate not to make the women’s game appear soft that they’ll throw normal standards out the window. Try that in a club game or men’s WC.

Yep, agree. And I think that's why there was a lot of inconsistency - when you have referees who aren't used to being super lenient, being told to be super lenient - well, it means they're going to really struggle with foul and card recognition. And that flows onto VAR decisions as well.

I suspect FIFA had this idea that having a referee basically blow the kickoff whistle then go sit in the sheds until halftime makes the game a better spectacle. I would say it definitely doesn't, especially when you look at things like England's timewasting in our semi.
