ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Eh up we'll take the positives...
Positives:

Don’t have to live there, but they do
Can invade the pitch without embarrassing ourselves
Been B2B Champions (unlike them)
Celebrated a Championship win in their home end (unlike them)
Even when we suck, we are not a meme club (like them)
It isn’t raining
I may have a new place to live- at last
I don’t have to support them, the Glory, Victory or the Jets

Anything else?

No no he meant positives out of the game itself
I didn't see any to be honest

The coach doesn't have to live in Leeds.

Season gone. No money. Usher in the bad old days. At least I get to back to GA next season or maybe a 6 game after we sign no one in the off season.

Why wouldn't you sub the keeper at half time?

I was actually being sarcastic about the Manager's post match speech which will doubtless say we weren't good enough today we actually wanted to win "but we'll take the positives". No mention of course of the Manager dropping the first choice goalkeeper for a red card he didn't even deserve and watching the replacement keeper implode.

Rest of the team weren't much better either.

Not sure if there is already a thread for this, had a quick gander, couldn't see anything.

This is a must win for sure, we need to pull our fingers out and get to work.

A draw or loss is out of the question if we want to savor something out of this season, even though I have already considered this season as a write off - cannot hurt to have wishful thinking lol.

I would like to see the same lineup as AFC:Elite except Theo start on the bench but that wont happen unfortunately...
Well that was bloody embarrassing
I just want to see a home win. Haven’t seen one this season which is crazy. I have missed 1 game… guess which one 🥴

I realised the other day that I have, without realising, stopped getting nervous or excited about games. Mariners games have become something to get mildly interested in, they take up a few hours of my time and I feel very little at the end of them.

I suspect this is acceptance.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still passionate about the Club and god I hope we turn things around at some point. But my expectations this season are gone.
Well that was damn embarrassing what was our goalie doing, channeling LIAM REDDY

Real tough watch tonight & not for the first time this season, lack of energy and passion was a throwback to the dark times.
I still feel like we have the nucleus of a good team in there, we’ve just got our foreign recruitment wrong, the injury fiasco & a few young players a bit off the pace.
This.

Club deserves a grace period after the last 3-4 seasons. Can’t expect to get it right every season and I maintained (after the first month of the comp) we were a 5th place team at best, maybe make the prelims with a dream run.

But now is the time to prepare for next season regarding recruitment and engagement. The last 2 seasons won back plenty of public goodwill- and it can be maintained provided the club is smart about it. The aftermath of the GF was a missed opportunity. Let’s get that right and at least 50/50 with recruitment and we can call the coming season a success.

I have nothing good to say so will refrain. I go to pretty much every home game. I’m not this Friday and I don’t really care I’m missing it. Such a shame.
